Daedal Inel

Daedal Inel, or 'Banner Land' was aquired from the dragons for Lynvia by Streff, in 3 BL. It is a land composed mainly of rolling hills to the South and coast to the East. Grain, cattle, and sheep are its major exports.

Government

The current leader of this province is Baron Koret.

The Banner is the Red Sword.

The Lynvian words on this banner are 'Havver', or Love, on the left, and 'Meglar', or Help, on the right.
The original banner designed by Sir Draken was simply a Red Sword, but after his treason and ignominious defeat by Kest in 9 BL, his successor added these words onto the banner, to remind his citizens that the sword is not for conquest but in defense of those we love, and in help against tyrrany, crime, or invasion.

History

King Streff rewarded Sir Draken for his key part in the Dragon Wars by promoting him to the rank of Baron, and giving him the region north of Streff, which he named Daedal Inel, Banner Land.
