The text box below can be used for a word-for-word translation from English to Lynvian or from Lynvian to English. This is rudimentary at best, and cannot be used as a true translation into Lynvian.
SOME punctuation may throw the translator off. Most normal symbols in a sentence are handled. Note That the Lynvian characters will also appear below the english characters.
The text box below can be used for a word-for-word translation from English to Kraxorian or from Kraxorian to English. This is rudimentary at best, and cannot be used as a true translation into Kraxorian.
SOME punctuation may throw the translator off as well.
While the translator above can give the phonetic pronunciation for Kraxorian, speaking their language is difficult on the vocal cords, as Garon can attest to. Also, it is not always possible to be present when needing to communicate, so their written words are tabulated below in no specific order. Realize that there is no plural, no tense, due to their unique perspective on time, and their significant size. Kraxorian is written top to bottom, left to right. A written message in it might be a bit confusing to a human, but a dragon can pick up mental impressions left by the writer, and nuances in the pitch and shape of the symbols.

This common Kraxorian poem, GOD MY LIGHT AND MY SAVE, WHO I FEAR, GOD STRENGTH OF MY LIFE,OF WHO I FEAR?, translates roughly to the poignant words in Psalm 27:1: The Lord is my Light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

One of the most interesting things about Kraxoria is that they have a National Anthem. Hearing the dragons sing this is a most moving experience, especially in light of their history. the words of this song are listed below in English and then, again, in Kraxorian.
Long ago, in a land by the shores of the sea |
Blood was spilled, we were killed, since the day we came to be |
Our very breath, to them meant death, so they chased us away |
in the snow covered mountains so far from the sea |
There our own built a home to make it safe for you and me |
And as we live, we must give ourselves to |
the One |
who has made us to be light |
in this dark, in this dark, in this dark |
and lonely world |
Fire and Ice, Wind and Rain |
Obey His command |
As they do, we must too |
Across this great land. |
You and I, made to fly |
Through the sweet summer sky |
Tooth and Nail, wing and scale |
We were made to catch the light |
And as we do, you must too |
When you hear the voice |
Of the One |
In the twinkling of an eye |
We must fly, we must fly, we must fly, we must fly |
Away. |
Fire and Ice, Wind and Rain |
Obey His command |
As they do, we must too |
Across this great land. |
